There are many attempts to explain Quantum Physics, but few get anywhere close to telling us why it matters. We might understand that it is the science of very smallest particles, and Brian Cox has explained very clearly that it is the calculation of the probability of the whereabouts of those tiny particles at any one time (search “Quantum Physics in 60 seconds” on YouTube). But why does that matter, and how does it apply to the world we live in and think about? This is a question which this book attempts to answer. It is developed from many of the thoughts and essays on this blog.
